Steris- Endo dry- Medical Drying and Storage Container

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA5000Q0054. Only written offers will be accepted (oral offers will not be accepted). The Government intends to establish a single firm fixed priced contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) IAW FAR 52.212-3.

FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05, effective 22 May , 2024, DFARS change 30 May,2024, and AFFARS change effective 12 July 2024, all are available in full text through http://www.acquisition.gov/far/.

This requirement is solicited full and open competition.

NAICS code 339112 – Surgical and medical Instrument Manufacturing

Size Standard: 1,000 Employees

Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

Any changes to this solicitation and any resultant contract must be completed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Changes made that are not authorized by the Contracting Officer are done at the risk of the contractor, to include costs. The Contracting Officer is the only government representative authorized to change the terms and conditions of this requirement.

Purpose:

The MDG General Surgery OR requires one (1) drying and storage unit for the increased number of endoscopes. They are unable to be stored in the current cabinets. The Endo Dry will allow for faster drying to increase utilization time of colonoscopies and endoscopies.

The operating room has previously purchased the EndoDry system for the OR and continues to train their teams on the system. This contract will be a brand name requirement based on the needs of the department and best interest to the government.

Description of agreement:

The 673rd Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, will award a single contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror that offers the approved service, is technically acceptable and is found to be the best value to the Government. All items shall be delivered FOB destination 90 days after contract award.
