Combined Synopsis Solicitation # 12305B21Q0098

SYNOPSIS:

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Research Service, Pasture Systems & Watershed Management Research Unit, University Park, PA., requires Kyte Decanter and Disc Stack Centrifuge system. This is a brand name or equal to requirement.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The primary objective of issuing this Combined Synopsis Solicitation is to seek information from vendors with the capability of providing Kyte Decanter and Disc Stack Centrifuge system. The equipment will be utilized for fluid and particle separation.

SPECIFICATIONS:

All items must be New

DECANTER CENTRIFUGE:

• Must be able to merge with existing Kyte Decanter and Disc Stack Centrifuge system.

• One (1) Sharples-Tomoe P-660 Decanter Centrifuge System to include: 316 S.S. rotating assembly & product contact parts. Hard-surfaced wear protection on conveyor - solids end. 1.5” conveyor pitch.

Planetary Gearbox: P7.5 95/1 ratio.

• 10 H.P. main-drive motor, 3,600 RPM, 460-480 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz.

• 5 H.P. back-drive motor, 3,600 RPM, 460-480 volt, 3 phase, 60 HZ.

• All mounted to a unitized sub-base and stand with height clearance for a 55 gallon drum.

• Control System to include: 460-480V Volt

DISK-STACK CENTRIFUGE

• One (1) Alfa Laval MAPX-207 self-cleaning disk-stack centrifuge to include: 10 HP TEFC motor. 1800 RPM. 460-480 V, 3-phase, 60 cycle. Direct-drive design. Set up as a clarifier. One (1) set of regulating discs One (1) set of necessary special tools One (1) set of spare bowl o-rings / gaskets. One (1) copy of the Operation / Spare parts Manua No attached feed pump. Customer must supply their own positive-displacement feed pump.

• Control Panel to include: 460/480 V 3-phase, 60 cycle power input required. 15 HP ABB Variable frequency drive Allen Bradley PLC Color HMI screen NEMA 4 enclosure 25’ of 4/C #10 seoow cable with pin & sleeve E-stop Main-power disconnect switch.

• Operating water system

*Warranty will include (at minimum): Nine (9) months from shipment or six (6) months from start-up, whichever comes first - centrifuge only. Twelve (12) months from shipment on new controls and new motors.

NOTE TO OFFERS:

This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Far Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented.

Additional information included in this notice is in accordance with procurement procedures of Far 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.

If you are an interested vendor, please provide the following information: 1.) Business name and point of contact; 2.) DUNS number and CAGE code (on quote); 3.) Business size (on quote); 4.) GSA Schedule number (if any, on quote); and 5.) A brief Statement of Capability (no more than three pages), which demonstrates the ability to meet the specialized work requirements above.
