SYNOPSIS:
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service, Research Support Services, Beltsville, Maryland, requires a Liquid Manure Spreader.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The primary objective of issuing this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is to seek information from vendors with the capability of providing a Liquid Manure Spreader. The product will be used to spread manure and sludge from the facility’s sewage treatment plant. The spreader must be able to merge with existing GEA Houle equipment.

SPECIFICATIONS:
• Must haul no less than 5300 gallons and no more than 6000 gallons
• Hydraulic activated steering axle
• Wheel assembly 28Lx26 16ply
• Double caliper brakes for 4 wheels
• Hydraulic suspension providing equal weight distribution on each wheel
• Complete axle lubrication system
• 1000 rpm impeller
• Heavy duty discharge pipe with anti-siphon
• Upper and lower discharge with directional valve
• Front fill indicator
• Drain system
• Integrated ladder
• LED signal lights
• Jack and wheel wrench
• In line hydraulic operated shut off / agitation valve
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Dealer must be within 100 miles of Beltsville, Maryland for service and parts,
• All the existing manure pumps and agitators are GEA Houle equipment; must be able to merge with existing equipment.

If you are an interested vendor, please provide the following information: 1.) Business name and point of contact; 2.) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3.) Business size; 4.) GSA Schedule number (if any); and 5.) A brief Statement of Capability (no more than three pages), which demonstrates the ability to meet the specialized work requirements above. In addition, include any past performance information on contracts of similar size and scope. All interested parties must have an active Sam.gov registration.
Electronic responses are mandatory. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested vendors who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to further compete or award a proposed contract action, based on this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
