Questions shall be submitted to vera.nordalm@hhs.gov, with a copy to April.Merriwether@hhs.gov, and must reference “CK-67 and TC-22 Barcode Scanners – RFQ 75D301-26-Q-79230” in the subject line.

Quotes must be received no later than September 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET. Quoters shall submit their quote electronically to vera.nordalm@hhs.gov, with a copy to April.Merriwether@hhs.gov, and must reference “CK-67 and TC-22 Barcode Scanners – RFQ 75D301-26-Q-79230” in the subject line.

This requirement is for the acquisition of ten (10) Honeywell CK-67 Sunflower-configured ruggedized mobile computers, eleven (11) Zebra TC-22 Sunflower-configured expandable mobile computers, and three-year barcode scanner hardware maintenance for all twenty-one (21) scanners for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Logistics and Property Management Services Office (LPMSO). The CK-67 and TC-22 scanners are critical hardware used to support CDC property management functions and are required to operate with the agency’s existing Sunflower MobileTrak site license, MobileTrak server https://www.acquisition.gov/ https://www.acquisition.gov/hhsar mailto:vera.nordalm@hhs.gov mailto:April.Merriwether@hhs.gov mailto:vera.nordalm@hhs.gov mailto:April.Merriwether@hhs.gov license, and Property Management Information System (PMIS). The system enables CDC to inventory and manage critical assets supporting its laboratories and mission-support functions.

The CK-67 and TC-22 barcode scanners provide the hardware capability necessary to operate within CDC’s existing Sunflower-based property management environment. The scanners support the tracking, inventorying, management, and forecasting of CDC assets and enable the agency to identify critical assets that may require replacement. The required scanners must be Sunflower-configured to maintain compatibility with the agency’s existing MobileTrak and PMIS environment. CGI Federal, Inc. is the sole provider of Sunflower software licenses and support and does not sell its software licenses or support through resellers or distributors. CGI Federal, Inc. is therefore the sole provider of Sunflower-configured scanners and related services.

The Sunflower-configured CK-67 and TC-22 scanners are integrated into CDC’s established property management environment and are necessary to maintain continuity of CDC-wide property tracking, inventory management, and asset forecasting activities. The requirement aligns with the Department of Health and Human Services Sunflower-based system currently used to manage critical Government assets. Failure to purchase the required Sunflower-compatible scanners would cause significant delays in the inventory process, disrupt CDC mission support due to inaccurate asset forecasting, and adversely affect the agency’s ability to perform its property management functions.

The anticipated award will be a firm-fixed-price contract for the purchase of the required Sunflower-configured barcode scanners and associated three-year hardware maintenance.
