About this file

This document is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items issued by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute on Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The solicitation (RFQ Number 75N94026Q00011) is for maintenance services for the Quanterix SR-X Biomarker Detection System SR-X 2042QP0546 and the Washer PW-2021038, with the intent to award a purchase order directly to Quanterix of Billerica, Massachusetts, bypassing full and open competition.

The solicitation is not set aside for small businesses, uses NAICS Code 811210 with a business size standard of $34,000,000, and requires vendors to submit quotations by email to Kelly Robinson by December 20, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Vendors must include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and business size certification. Quanterix is being selected exclusively because they are the original equipment manufacturer, and using third-party maintenance would void their warranty and potentially increase service disruption risks.

Text version

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is 75N94026Q00011 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-06. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 811210 and the business size standard is $34,000,000.00. This solicitation is not set aside for small businesses.

It is the intent of The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute on Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) to award a purchase order, without providing for full and open competition, to Quanterix of Billerica, Massachusetts for the base year and option year of maintenance services for the Quanterix SR-X Biomarker Detection System SR-X 2042QP0546 and the Washer PW-2021038.

This is a Notice of Intent to receive the services from Quanterix because Quanterix is the original equipment manufacturer. Quanterix does not provide outsider engineers training to service the equipment or authorize third party vendors. A contract with a third-party repair/maintenance service will void Quanterix’s extended warranty and service contract, and significantly increase the risk of disruptions.
