About this file
This is an amendment to an existing term contract between Sarasota County, Florida and Wilhelm Brothers, Inc. for mowing services at county preserves in Zone 2. Amendment No. 3 extends the current contract term (originally set to expire April 15, 2026) through July 14, 2026, adding an additional ninety days. The extension maintains all existing pricing, terms, and conditions from the original contract. The amendment was issued March 24, 2026, and requires the contractor to submit a signed Human Trafficking Attestation Form and updated insurance certificates covering the extension period to the County's Administrative Agent, Teri Stabler.
The total contract value for the extended period from April 16, 2025 through July 14, 2026 is $72,000.00, representing an increase of $21,000.00 from the original renewal term amount of $51,000.00. Wilhelm Brothers, Inc., represented by Vice President Benjamin Wilhelm, is the incumbent contractor holding multiple related mowing service contracts (SR 2094-02, SR 2094-04, SR 2094-05, and SR 2094-06) with Sarasota County. The amendment indicates that Sarasota County is preparing to solicit bids for a new three-year mowing and vegetation management services contract with a bid deadline of July 20, 2026, suggesting this extension bridges the gap between the current contract expiration and award of the new solicitation.
