Each year, thousands of people who really care about the future of volunteer service and community change convene in one place - to learn from, share with and get inspired by one another - to work together to increase the number of volunteers in the world and the impact of the work they do. The 2016 Conference will examine how the next generation of change-makers are creating new pathways for direct action and unleashing power to make a difference in the world.

The 2016 National Conference on Volunteering and Service (http://www.volunteeringandservice.org/default.cfm), is the only national conference on volunteering and service in the United States that brings together all sectors to increase the impact of volunteering and service. It will be held June 26 - 29. The conference brings together more than 2,000 attendees from the volunteering and community service sector including national service representatives, nonprofit leaders, practitioners, researchers, volunteers, youth, corporate social responsibility, philanthropic, and other leaders.

The conference provides a venue to share effective and innovative practices, discuss new research, focus on professional development and create a shared agenda to drive systemic change that integrates service and volunteering as a key strategy in supporting communities with human power to solve community challenges.
