Task Assignment 3

Change Order 3

This Task Order Change Order 3 is to perform the necessary tasks to connect electricity to the Gazebo. This task was previously removed per FDEP direction and has been recently requested to add back to the project. Per FDEP direction, the restroom facility adjacent to the gazebo area is currently in design to upgrade their facilities, which includes electrical. FDEP will provide the current plan set to Gresham Smith to utilize the design information for this change order. The intent is to use the utility connection information on the supplied plans to aid in the electrical connection design for the gazebo. The submittal items for this task will be included with submittals for subtasks 13A, 13B, and 13C.

This Task order also includes a Conceptual Phase for the Ranger Station. In the original scope, Task 12 – Ranger

Station did not require a Conceptual Phase since the structure was an FDEP-selected structure from their catalog and expected to be designed at-grade. The City of Bonita Springs Building Department now requires the structure to be elevated above the flood elevation of 12’. This fee will include the efforts to create a Conceptual

Design as well as the additional structural efforts made during the submittals for Task 12.

This Task Order Change Order also includes additional work for Task 6 – Timber Boardwalk Design to complete the design as an early-action project to allow for advanced bidding and construction of the timber boardwalk which will provide pedestrian and maintenance vehicle (gator) access to the beach. This task includes review and responses to up to four (4) RFI’s review of shop drawings, and contractor submissions, and addressing questions during construction. Fulltime construction inspection (CE&I) is not included; however, three inspection field views will be performed as Intermediate Completion, Substantial Completion, and Final Acceptance inspections. This work will include subtasks 19A, 19B, and 19C.

This Task Order Change Order also includes necessary tasks related the development of repair plans to address additional damage to Tram Bridge 2 (Bridge 120801) as a result of storm surge associated with Hurricane Idalia

– Task 20, Tram Bridge 2 Ian and Idalia Damage. This task includes the development of permanent repair plans to address structural issues for Tram Bridge 2 resulting from storm surge damage. Construction inspection

(CE&I) is not included. This work will include subtasks 20A, 20B, and 20C.

Subtask 17B - Gazebo 90% Electrical Design: This phase includes the design for the electrical services necessary to further develop the design for the Gazebo after review and approval of the 30% design documents by the client. Gresham Smith will proceed with this phase of the work upon completion of Subtask

17A.

Subtask 17C - Gazebo Final Electrical Construction Documents: This phase includes the Electrical services necessary to finalize the design for the Gazebo after the client's review and approval of the 90% design documents. Gresham Smith will proceed with this phase of the work upon completion of Subtask 17B.

Deliverables

17A: 30% Electrical Design Documents will be provided for the Gazebo. This will be a narrative with basis of design for anticipated number of circuits from the adjacent building required for design.

17B: 90% Electrical Design Documents will be provided for the Gazebo. The drawings will be produced as native 24x36 documents, and copies of the 90% design documents will be provided to the client in electronic format as PDF files. This will be included with the Subtask 13B submittal. They will include Drawing

Specifications, General Notes, Electrical Symbol Legend, Power Plans, and Schedules.

17C: Final Electrical Construction Design Documents will be provided for the Gazebo. The drawings will be produced as native 24x36 documents, and copies of the Final Construction design documents will be provided to the client in electronic format as PDF files. A signed and sealed set will be provided upon request.

This will be included with the Subtask 13C submittal. That submittal will include the following:

o Revised Permit Package Documents.

o Receipt of all permits for construction.

o Final Construction Drawing Package and Specifications delivered to the client.

Performance Measure: Deliverables will be reviewed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection

(FDEP) within two weeks of submittal to confirm they are complete, accurate, and timely.
