About this file
This is a market survey questionnaire from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support division seeking supplier input for a potential Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) or Long-Term Contract (LTC) for electronic connectors, specifically NSN 5935013704770 (Connector, Receptacle, Electrical). The survey was issued on 2 April 2026 with responses due by 9 April 2026 at 4:00 PM EST. The item falls under NAICS code 334417 (Electronic Connector Manufacturing) with a 1,000-employee size standard for small business classification.
DLA WS is gathering market information to develop realistic acquisition strategies and solicitation terms. Key topics addressed in the survey include supplier business size and status, manufacturing or distributor capability, interest in pursuing the LTC, and preferred contract structures. DLA's preliminary position is a five-year firm fixed-price contract with no option years, FOB Origin terms (Government handles transportation), and compliance with Buy American requirements under DFARS 252.225-7001. Suppliers are asked whether they can provide quantity price breaks, support an Economic Price Adjustment clause if preferred, and comply with Physical Identification/Bare Item Marking requirements. The survey also requests information on inventory availability, hazardous material content, GSA Schedule listings, Cost or Pricing Data capabilities, commercial item status with supporting evidence, production limitations, and minimum delivery order requirements. Respondents are encouraged to provide additional input to inform the acquisition strategy. Contact for questions is tyler.bender@dla.mil.
