About this file

This document contains ordering data for an ASTM-F-1123 non-metallic expansion joint required under a federal contract opportunity. The key details are:

The expansion joint has a 42-inch inside diameter, a 12-inch +/- 3/16-inch face-to-face dimension, a minimum operating pressure of 21 psig, a maximum operating pressure of 40 psig, a minimum operating temperature of 60°F, and a maximum operating temperature of 105°F. It requires one-sided flange drilling per MIL-PRF-20042. The fluid to be handled is seawater, and a hydrostatic test at 60 psig and 105°F is required.

The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number SPMYM224Q1849, is for a firm fixed-price supply contract for an expansion joint, to be awarded as a 100% small business set-aside. The offer submission deadline is July 2, 2024 by 1:00 PM PDT, and delivery is required to Bremerton, WA. Offerors must comply with NIST SP 800-171 requirements unless the items are determined to be commercial off-the-shelf.
