CLIN 0001 Scheduled Maintenance:
Unit price is based on average hourly rate for a journeyman level HVACR technician as determined through market research and historical data.
The number of hours required is established using historical data, manufacturer guidelines and industry standards for PMCS and routine M&R tasks as defined in the PWS.
The following summarizes manpower requirements:
‐ Site visit for PMCS and routine M&R: 1 tech, 16 hours/week, 25 weeks/half year = 400 hours
‐ LARC Seasonal Changeover: average of 5 techs, 40 hours/week, 1 week/half year = 200 hours
CLIN 0002 Unscheduled Maintenance:
Unit price is based on average hourly rate for each labor category as determined through market research and historical data.
Due to the unpredictability of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, the number of hours required for unscheduled maintenance and emergency service can be estimated only through historical contract data and the assessments of current and anticipated equipment condition as made by ATC SMEs and operators/maintainers.
CLIN 0003 Replacement Parts:
Due to the unpredictable nature of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, it is not possible to fully predict replacement part requirements in advance. The parts list and quantity required is based on maintenance schedules of relevant equipment, input from local SMEs on anticipated equipment failures and historical data from previous contracts.
