Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of three successfully completed projects of similar nature with verifiable references. For proposals exceeding $50,000, bidders must submit a 2 percent bid bond. Contractors are required to provide comprehensive project schedules, detailed descriptions of materials and delivery methods, risk mitigation plans for existing trail protection, trail closure and user safety plans, and weekly progress updates with budget tracking. All work must occur during posted trail hours (5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.), or contractors must provide prior notice to TRWD for work outside these hours. Post-award requirements include submission of insurance certificates, payment and performance bonds, and execution of TRWD's Agreement for Minor Construction. Request For Proposal #26-177 3 Title: Clearfork Signage Installation

1. 1. .......................................................................... INTRODUCTION

1.1. 1.1. .......................................................................................... SUMMARY

Tarrant Regional Water District is seeking proposals for Clearfork Signage Installation. Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/trwd

Proposals are due no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

1.2. 1.2. ..................................................................................... BACKGROUND

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) has provided quality water to its customers, implemented vital flood control measures and created recreational opportunities for Tarrant

County residents and communities for more than one hundred (100) years.

TRWD is led by a publicly elected five (5) member board and owns and operates four (4) major reservoirs including Lake Bridgeport, Eagle Mountain Lake, Cedar Creek Reservoir and Richland

Chambers Reservoir. TRWD has constructed over two hundred and fifty (250) miles of water pipelines, multiple pump stations and a two-thousand-acre wetland water reuse project augmenting water supplies for the area. TRWD also maintains twenty-seven (27) miles of floodway levees and more than one hundred (100) miles of Trinity River Trails.

TRWD’s transmission pipelines, ranging in diameters of 72 inch through 108 inch, convey water from its water supply sources Richland-Chambers Reservoir, Cedar Creek Reservoir and Lake

Benbrook, through several lake and booster pump stations including balancing reservoirs along the way. The raw water is delivered directly to customer water treatment plants supplied by

TRWD’s pipelines, as well as to terminal storage reservoirs (Eagle Mountain, Lake Benbrook, and Lake Arlington) through pressure reducing outlets.
