About this file

This is an addendum document outlining additional contract clauses for a State of Maine procurement related to Simplified Immunization Schedules 2011. The document specifies key contractual terms including provisions for performance evaluation, contract extension, and recycled content preferences. The State Purchasing Director reserves the right to extend the contract period beyond the initial expiration date with contractor consent, with the total contract period not to exceed three years. The contract allows for an overrun not exceeding 3%, and vendor past performance may be considered as a factor in the award decision.

The procurement includes a recycled content preference provision for paper and paper products, offering up to a 10% price preference to bidders submitting proposals with a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled material content that are within 10% of the lowest bid meeting all other specifications. Vendors bidding recycled paper products must clearly indicate this in their solicitation response and disclose the recycled content percentage in the comments section to be eligible for the price preference consideration.
