About this file

This is a contract addendum document for the State of Maine outlining additional clauses applicable to a procurement opportunity. The document establishes key contractual parameters including a maximum contract extension period of three years and a performance-based evaluation criterion whereby past vendor performance may influence award decisions.

The procurement permits a maximum overrun of 3% beyond the initial contract scope. A recycled content preference is available for paper and paper product bids that contain a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled material; such bids may receive up to a 10% price preference provided they are within 10% of the lowest compliant bid and the recycled content percentage is disclosed in the solicitation response comments section. The State Purchasing Director retains discretionary authority to extend the contract term beyond its designated expiration date with contractor consent, subject to the three-year maximum aggregate contract period limitation.
