About this file
This document outlines additional contract clauses for the Maine WIC Farmers' Market Program Checks procurement. The contract includes an extension provision allowing the State Purchasing Director to extend the contract period beyond the initial expiration date with contractor consent, with a maximum total contract period not to exceed three years. The solicitation permits an overrun not exceeding 3% of the bid amount.
The pricing and award terms include consideration of the vendor's past performance as a factor in contract award decisions. A recycled content price preference is available for bidders offering paper or paper products containing a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled material that fall within 10% of the lowest responsive bid meeting all other specifications; qualified bidders may receive up to a 10% price preference if they clearly indicate their recycled paper bid and disclose the recycled content percentage in the comments section of their solicitation response.
