About this file
This document outlines additional contractual clauses for a Maine state purchasing contract related to a Voluntary Contractor Certification Program Decal. The contract includes an extension clause that permits the State Purchasing Director to extend the contract period beyond the initial expiration date with contractor consent, with a maximum total contract period not to exceed three years. No specific information is provided regarding product quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, or bidder meetings.
The pricing terms allow for an overrun not to exceed 3 percent of the contract value. Vendor past performance may be considered as a factor in award decisions. The solicitation includes a recycled content preference for paper or paper products containing a minimum of 30 percent post-consumer recycled material; bids meeting this criterion and falling within 10 percent of the lowest compliant bid may receive up to a 10 percent price preference, contingent upon the vendor identifying recycled paper offerings and disclosing recycled content in the solicitation response comments section.
