CONTRACTED KIT INSTALLATION
OF THE COMBINED BLOCK 8.1 MODIFICATION
TO THE UNTIED STATES GOVERNMENT (USG) C-130J FLEET
US Air Force C-130J Retrofit Program Office
The United States Air Force (USAF) is planning a follow on contract to the Combined Block 8.1 Modification effort. The effort consists of receipt, induction, preparation, installation, quality assurance, functional checks, and return to service of a major Block Update modification to the USG C-130J fleet. Demonstrated abilities will consist of the full range of methods, technologies and supporting activities – including the following: receiving and handling of parts, repair handling, data management, configuration management responsive to kit changes over time, logistics, and overall project management/reporting - in accordance with technical and regulatory requirements.
The USAF has significant data from previous market research conducted and contracts awarded for this effort. This request is specifically targeted for Performance Work Statement (PWS) feedback for the follow-on contract. The data collected may be shared with other Services and agencies, but will not be shared with any entity outside of the USG.
All questions refer to the description of the Block Upgrade 8.1 Modification and the general description of work included as attachments with this Request for Information (RFI). Please provide infromation back to USAF by 24 September 2022. If you have any questions, please contact Carl Henderson (carl.henderson.5@us.af.mil), Mitchell Frost (mitchell.frost@us.af.mil), or Sarah Woods (sarah.woods.3.ctr@us.af.mil).
