Summary

This is an account list document for the City of New Haven's electricity accounts managed by The United Illuminating Company. The spreadsheet contains detailed information on over 700 municipal accounts, including those belonging to the Board of Education, Parks and Public Works, Transportation and Traffic Parking, Police Services, Fire Service, Street Lights, and other city departments. The accounts are distributed across New Haven and surrounding areas, with service addresses spanning the city and extending into Hamden and West Haven. Each account entry includes the account name, account number, utility company designation (UI), ISO region code (NEISO), rate class code, and complete service address information. The contract opportunity associated with this account list seeks competitive proposals for electricity supply to these City of New Haven accounts, with an estimated annual usage of 46,000 MWh and a start date of July 1, 2026.

The electricity procurement is structured as a multi-year retail electric supply contract with a block and index structure and firm service provisions. The initial contract term will be for 60 months from the meter read date in July 2026. Suppliers must meet minimum qualifications outlined in the Statement of Qualifications and receive City approval before submitting price offers in Phase 2 of the RFQ/RFP process. The procurement covers various city-owned buildings and facilities, including schools, public safety operations, and major municipal buildings, while excluding private or residential electric service. The City seeks to secure competitive pricing, reduce rate volatility, comply with Connecticut clean energy goals, and leverage modern energy data and reporting capabilities through this procurement.
