About this file
This document is a Purchase Description for a ChipCHECK Model CC121 Portable Debris Analysis System solicited by the US Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal. The acquisition includes one system with specific components: a debris analysis unit with software, custom sample trays and patches, calibration standards, power accessories, a transport case, and a comprehensive material reference library covering over 50 metal alloys and base elements. The system is designed for the Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP) laboratory to simultaneously count, measure, and analyze metallic particle size, shape, and chemical composition from engine or gearbox chip collectors.
The procurement includes additional elements such as Item Unique Identification (IUID) labeling, FOB destination shipping to Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, a standard 12-month warranty, and an 8-hour virtual training session for up to 8 attendees. The solicitation (Number PANRSA25P0000014060) aims to obtain a rapidly deployable elemental analysis instrument that can help technicians provide fast maintenance recommendations, ultimately reducing mean time to repair and improving aircraft operational availability while mitigating mission risks.
