Appendix A– Chapel Building Roof Photos
Report No. M2163.01-032 Date 3-30-23 Page 2 of 2
7. Chapel Building. The rake edge is 6 inches in size.
8. Chapel Building. When measured from back side the bottom of the double tongue in groove is 3 inches above the rake.
9. Chapel Building. Inside view. Wood Glulam beams at
13 feet on center. The double tongue and groove wood is directly on the Glulam Beams. There is no soffit or ridge venting provided. No insulation in roof system.
10. Chapel Building. Somehow electrical service is within the roof system. The assumption is that a channel cut was made on the top side of the double tongue in groove to lay conduit for the lights.
11. Chapel Building. Close up view of 5/8” to 3/4” conduit coming down from the deck.
12. Chapel Building. View of steeple. The bottom portion of the steeple appears to be a metal flashing shroud that can be removed and replaced in like kind following reroofing.
