About this file
This is a Shipping Instructions document for the State of Iowa's procurement of Cereal, Bulk and Bowl Pack for the CDC Warehouse in Woodward, Iowa. The solicitation was posted on the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System website, with bids due on October 2, 2023. The state seeks a single bidder to provide cereal products in bulk and bowl pack formats to the CDC Warehouse. Products must be delivered to the warehouse on pallets that are shrink wrapped, with all freight charges and fuel costs included in the bid price. Trailers used for shipment must be insulated and clean. Bidders may be required to submit samples for testing and provide proof of pack date and pack origin upon request, including pack date code keys when needed.
All products must be labeled and arrive in undamaged condition; freight containing damaged products will be refused, and loads with damaged packages in the middle of pallets may result in the entire shipment being refused with the bidder responsible for pickup costs. Alternatively, damaged packages will be set aside and credit will be issued. Bidders should register on the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System website to submit their bids. The solicitation does not specify the contract term, renewal options, award value, budget range, incumbent vendors, or set-aside designations. Vendors must carefully review all solicitation documents to understand specific product requirements and evaluation criteria for this opportunity.
