About this file
This document is a Commissary Equipment Description (CED) detailing specifications for sandwich preparation tables for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The equipment specification covers two table sizes: a 48-inch (2-door) and a 72-inch (3-door) model, with specific requirements including stainless steel construction, solid doors, interior storage shelves, and temperature maintenance between 33-41 degrees Fahrenheit. Key technical specifications mandate UL listing, NSF certification, a one-year warranty, and compliance with Clean Air Act refrigerant standards, with acceptable refrigerant types including propane, CO2, and isobutane.
The document outlines electrical requirements for different global locations, specifying standard U.S. electrical specifications (115V, 60Hz) and alternative voltage requirements for Pacific Theater and European stores (220V, 50Hz). Contractors must provide installation instructions, parts lists, and a service point of contact upon delivery. The specification is part of a pre-solicitation market research effort by DeCA for sandwich prep tables, with interested vendors directed to contact Tammy Torres via email for further information about the upcoming procurement opportunity.
