Synopsis for Candidate Development Support Services (CDSS) III Program

The 338 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) /Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC) at JBSA-Randolph is announcing its intent to solicit proposals under Request for Proposal (RFP) FA3002-21-R-0024. This solicitation will serve to acquire professionally and technically experienced personnel with life experiences in the Special Warfare and Combat Support (SW/CS) career fields to use their acquired skills to provide guidance on safety, nutrition, physical fitness workout plans, mental resiliency, and use of proper exercise techniques to enhance a candidate's ability to reach their full potential in preparation for the SW/CS career fields. Special Operations is considered the Pararescue (PJ)/Combat Rescue Officer (CRO), Combat Control (CCT)/Special Tactics Officer (STO), Special Operations Weather Team (SOWT), and Tactical Air Control Party (TACP)/Air Liaison Officer (13L) career fields. Combat Support is considered the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (EOD) and Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) career fields. The 338 ESS anticipates release of the RFP on 28 September 2021 with a closing date of 28 October 2021.

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this solicitation is 621999, All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Services. The business size standard in dollars is $16.5M.

This acquisition is a total (100%) Small Business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.

When the RFP is released, all potential Offerors should carefully review the instructions in Section L attachment to the Solicitation as well as the evaluation criteria described in Section M attachment to the Solicitation. A resultant contract will be awarded in accordance with the evaluation procedures established in the RFP.
