16.REMARKS

An Industrial Truck Battery Test Procedure Report Form shall be submitted for each forklift battery in accordance with the attached “Industrial Truck Battery Test Procedure” to document the condition of the internal cells. All measurements shall be provided on Enclosure (1), the “Industrial Truck Battery Test

Record.”

Forms shall be submitted in an Adobe or Microsoft compatible format with the following file naming convention:

Industrial Truck Battery Test Procedure

1. Charge battery in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s instructions.

2. Allow battery to rest for 8 hours minimum prior to conducting procedure.

3. Using an appropriately ranged VOM, conduct the following checks, and record the results:

a. Take battery voltage reading at battery connector between the terminals.

b. Take a reading of each individual battery cell.

c. Record all results in the following Enclosure (1).
