The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a single source contract to OpenClinica LLC of Waltham, MA in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)13.106-1 (b) (1) (i). The procurement will provide the CDC’s Metropolitan Atlanta Congenital Defects Program (MACDP) with licenses for OpenClinica’s database management software as well as support services for assistance with configuration of the software, as well as consultation and training on the software. OpenClinica is the only commercial software product that can provide the host of features for database management that MACDP requires and, based on CDC’s market research, no other vendor possesses the unique expertise and proprietary knowledge for providing the required support services.

This notice is not a request for quote (RFQ). However, any firm that believes itself capable of meeting the requirements described herein may submit a response which will be considered if received before 29 August at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. A determination not to compete the described requirement based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the government. Responses shall be submitted via email to ueh8@cdc.gov with the number of this notice in the subject line.
