Question 1. Is the opportunity limited to Georgia?

Answer 1. Yes, the projects must be performed in Georgia.

Question 2. Under Section A., is a seeding project acceptable under Pollinator Habitat Enhancement?

Answer 2. Seeding projects are acceptable. We are looking for new ways of encouraging pollinators that aren’t your typical pollinator establishment techniques which could include new methods vegetation management without seeding as well as incorporating seed mixes.

Question 3. Section D. Application and Submission Information includes Section 7 Indirect Cost Limitations which is not indicated in the Table of Contents of the funding opportunity. Can you please confirm section 7 applies to this opportunity and confirm whether a non-profit organization having a federally-negotiated indirect cost rate which are greater than 10% of direct costs will be statutorily limited to indirect costs of 10%?

Answer 3. While section 7 is not included in the Table of Contents, it is applicable to the funding opportunity. Section 7 mentions a 10% indirect cost limitation for non-profit organizations or institutions of higher education awarded a cooperative agreement. However, as noted in section B.2. of the funding opportunity, the agency plans to award grant agreements in which case the statutory limitation would not be applicable.
