CCSD Buildout Specifications - 2 K9 Vehicles
This is a buildout specifications document for the Clark County School District (CCSD) in Ohio pertaining to the equipment, material, and installation of K9 vehicles. The document provides detailed technical requirements for the outfitting of two police K9 patrol vehicles with specialized equipment and safety features designed to support canine units. The specifications include requirements for vehicle modifications, kennel installations, climate control systems, lighting, communication equipment, and other law enforcement-specific components necessary to safely transport and operate K9 units. The document serves as the technical foundation for the procurement process, establishing minimum standards and performance requirements that bidders must meet when submitting proposals for the K9 vehicle buildout project.
The specifications document establishes comprehensive equipment and installation standards that potential contractors must follow, including detailed descriptions of kennel construction, ventilation systems, emergency alert systems, equipment mounting locations, and safety compliance requirements. The document does not contain pricing information, set-aside provisions, incumbent contractor details, or contract award timelines within its scope. Rather, it functions as the technical bid document that defines the scope of work and acceptable materials and installation methods for vendors responding to the Equipment, Material & Installation of K9 Build-Out contract opportunity with CCSD.
