About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC) seeking information from vendors regarding the purchase of a Cash to Card System for their Milford HQ Cafe. The DOC currently operates two 10+ year old cash to card kiosks and is looking to replace the system with an up-to-date solution. The RFI requests vendors to provide a company profile and a written narrative response addressing the current cash to card system infrastructure and preferred capabilities such as point-of-sale systems. Responses are due by 2:00 PM EST on November 18, 2022. The DOC is under no obligation to incorporate any recommendations from the RFI into a future solicitation and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by respondents.
The RFI states that the DOC is not interested in including credit/debit card loading options at this time, but systems with that capability can be rendered inactive. Vendors are encouraged to provide any additional information they deem responsive to the RFI. The DOC makes no guarantee that any commodities or services will be purchased based on the information gathered from this RFI.
