About this file
This document contains a capability statement from a contractor proposing to provide prescription safety glasses to employees at an Army depot. The contractor would bring a mobile unit to the depot on a monthly or bi-weekly basis to provide eye exams and prescription safety glasses. The contractor offers three tiers of frames and five lens types, and provides pricing for complete glasses pairs and for replacing just lenses. Pricing is also provided for glass lens options and for transitions, anti-reflective and tint coatings. The contractor notes that all glasses will meet ANSI and OSHA standards.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice from the Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal seeking prescription safety glasses. The capability statement contains the contractor's pricing and service details relevant to responding to this opportunity.
