Delivery Camp Nelson National Monument Interpretation, Education, and Visitor Services 6614 Danville Road Loop 2 Nicholasville, KY, 40356
The vendor will be responsible for the delivery. The park recommends that the deliver be made on a flatbed truck. The driver should enter through the front-gate to the park and follow the paved road east past the visitor center. The road turns to gravel east of the visitor center and becomes grass/field along the Fort Trail out to Fort Putnam, ascending uphill.
The cannon will be mounted and installed at the far-right gun platform. See map.
The delivery team should communicate with POC Steve Phan (NPS) on timing of delivery in case weather turns the fort trail too muddy.
Acceptance Criteria Once all project tasks been completed, the Chief of Interpretation will examine the cannon and criteria to ensure all specs have been met.
