About this file

This is a Cancellation Notice issued by the Technical College System of Georgia on behalf of Albany Technical College for a Request for Quotes (RFQ) solicitation numbered 82000-ATC0000045. The solicitation, originally posted on August 27, 2021, sought an authorized supplier to provide a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Engineering Technology Lab trainer for the college's Electronics Technology Program. The equipment was intended to instruct students on programming, testing, and troubleshooting PLC systems. The solicitation was cancelled on September 28, 2021, as further development of the requirements and/or a new direction was deemed necessary to achieve a successful outcome for the State's needs.

The State Entity indicated that suppliers would be required to respond to new bid forms and requirements should a subsequent solicitation be conducted. All materials submitted with the current solicitation remain closed pending a potential rebid. Issuing Officer Octavia Thorpe noted that upon issuance of a Notice of Intent to Award for any subsequent solicitation, records would be made available in accordance with Section I.6 of the Georgia Procurement Manual regarding public access to procurement information. Interested suppliers were directed to the Georgia Procurement Registry for further information.
