The solicitation, numbered 48400-DOT0002459, was originally posted on January 20, 2022, and was cancelled on March 14, 2022, by Issuing Officer Lois J. Nortey. The solicitation sought a contractor to provide regular inspection, maintenance, and repair services for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems located at One GA Center, specifically including two Trane rooftop chillers, three WEG pumps, three vapor mist humidifiers, and one Mitsubishi split AC unit. These systems support the Department's datacenter, which is critical to the state's IT infrastructure and the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) network across Georgia's transportation systems.

The solicitation was cancelled due to the need to redevelop requirements. All materials and submissions from the current solicitation will remain closed pending the issuance of a new bid. Upon the Notice of Intent to Award for any subsequent solicitation, procurement records will be made available in accordance with Section I.6 of the Georgia Procurement Manual regarding public access to procurement information. All suppliers interested in the project will be required to submit responses to new bid forms and requirements should the State elect to conduct a new solicitation.
