About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for exhaust insulation installation services on the USCGC 270' Campbell, a U.S. Coast Guard vessel. The SOW outlines the scope of work required to install thermal insulation on the vessel's exhaust system to reduce surface temperatures and meet safety and operational requirements. The work involves insulating exhaust piping, components, and associated systems according to specified technical standards and drawings prepared by a professional engineer. All quotes must include engineer-approved drawings to be considered for award.

The contract is being procured as a commercial items purchase order under FAR 12 with a Firm Fixed Price basis. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) will evaluate quotes based on technical compliance with SOW requirements, ability to meet delivery deadlines, and price under a Best Value evaluation approach. Vendors must be able to self-fund the work until completion and delivery to the Coast Guard, with payment issued via Government Purchase Order on Net 30 terms upon Contracting Officer approval. Past performance will be reviewed only for contractor responsibility determination per FAR 9.1. Professional engineer-approved drawings are mandatory inclusions in all quotations for the submission to be considered responsive.
