About this file
This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) details food service management requirements for two locations at the Savannah River Site (SRS): the 766-H Cafeteria and 730-B Energy Bean Coffee Kiosk. The Food Vendor must provide full food service management, including light breakfast, specialty coffees, lunch, hot food, self-service, and catered meals. Operating hours are 6:30-9:00 am for breakfast and 10:30 am-1:00 pm for lunch, with service on specified SRS holidays.
The agreement requires the Food Vendor to maintain a comprehensive quality control program, including self-assessments and annual third-party restaurant inspections. The vendor must follow federal and state food service regulations, ensure proper sanitation, and clean all food preparation and serving areas. SRNS will provide extensive kitchen equipment across both locations, including walk-in freezers and refrigerators, multiple cooking appliances, serving lines, and various preparation and storage equipment. The initial MOA term is one year, with potential renewal for four additional one-year periods, and seeks a for-profit arrangement with an innovative food service provider that can deliver high-quality, unique dining experiences.
