Synopsis – M6700121Q0005 Marine Corps Installations East Contracting Office has a requirement for Bulk and Bagged Lime for use aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm-fixed price requirements contract. The contractor will supply all items identified in the RFQ to include transportation and delivery to multiple site throughout Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

The period of performance will be for a base period of 12 months with two one-year option periods. The base period of performance will begin on or after 17 January 2021.

The Government will solicit (M6700121Q0005) and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5 and 16.5. The Government intends to award to the quoter who represents the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The requirements contract will be issued on an “all or none” basis for all line items. This requirement is 100% small business set aside, the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 327410, Lime Manufacturing, Size Standard 750 people.

Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at Contract Opportunities (formerly FBO) at https://beta.sam.gov, on or about 31 October 2020. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov/ and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance, and Property Transfer (iRAPT, formerly WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil/. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered.

The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the quoter who’s quote represents the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable approximately 20 business days after closing of response period. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The Government is not responsible for cost incurred by interested parties in response to the Synopsis or RFQ.
