About this file

This document is a white paper template for the Warden C-sUAS (Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft System) Event, designed to collect information from potential industry partners. The template solicits detailed technical information about counter-UAS capabilities, including system descriptions, operational concepts, technology maturity, and experimental environment requirements. The event, tentatively scheduled for 3QFY26, aims to evaluate technologies at Technology Readiness Level 5 or higher against Group 1 and 2 small UAS threat platforms, with the Government's objective of influencing investments in fiscal years 2027-2030 and collecting comprehensive C-sUAS datasets. Participants are expected to provide comprehensive details about their systems, including physical space requirements, power needs, operational characteristics, detection/tracking capabilities, and potential defeat mechanisms for unmanned aerial systems.

Please use the space provided. Please remove examples and insert your information appropriately.

1. Capability name. Insert name

2. Capability description. Provide a brief description of the system. Please include what it is, what it provides, and the necessary characteristics (size/ weight/ spectrum/ power, etc.). If invited to attend, the information you provide will be used to plan for physical footprint, power, and range safety information.

Insert description here.

Does your technology include any type of Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) or Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). If yes, please list quantity and type.

Insert information here.

Does your system emit any type of energy (RF/laser/etc.)?

Yes/no

If yes, please provide the frequency(s) and power used.

Insert information here / or not-applicable.

Does your system include a kinetic weapon?

Yes/no

If yes, please provide the caliber/weapon information.

Insert information here.

3. Concept of use. Describe how you envision the technology being used at an Army test event. For planning purposes, expect that a variety of Class 1 and Class 2 UAS will be flown in tactically relevant scenarios in, around, and towards the technology capabilities.

Insert information here.

If your capability is a defeat mechanism, what is the compelling reason for defeat engagements at this event?

Insert information here.

If your capability is a defeat mechanism, does it include a detection/tracking capability?

Insert information here.

If not, what information do you require for cueing?

Insert information here.

4. Operators. Vendors are expected to operate and maintain their equipment. Is your system currently suitable for dismounted infantry Soldiers?

Yes/no If no, what is required to make the technology suitable for dismounted infantry?

Insert information here

5. Solution space. For what kinds of UAS do you provide a C-UAS solution?

Insert information here.

6. Technology maturity. Describe the level of maturity of the proposed technology.

Insert information here.

Describe the testing that has occurred to demonstrate this level of maturity.

Insert information here. If video is to be shared, a DOD-SAFE link will be provided.

7. Experiment environment. Warden will be a field experiment conducted tentatively 3QFY26. A military range with sufficient distance is the anticipated location. If necessary, an alternative venue may be utilized should your technology require it. It is anticipated multiple industry partners will be invited to participate, and/or Government partners and the range will be shared amongst those teams.

Do you have any requirements above and beyond what has been asked?

Insert information here.
Are you interested in showcasing your capability to distinguished visitors?
Insert information here.

8. Setup/Integration.

Please provide the physical space required.

Insert information here.

Please provide the power requirements Insert information here.

Please provide any other requirements of the range (fuel, laser safety, etc.).

9. Quantity. How many systems do you intend to bring?

Insert information here.

10. Storage. For safety/security – do you require overnight safe storage, or would you propose bringing equipment that needs to be stored in an arms room?

If yes, please outline the overall size and weight of the items.

Insert information here.

11. Objectives. What do you hope to learn by participating? What does success look like? The Government hopes to influence investments in FY27-30, and collect suitable C-sUAS datasets to support development of C-sUAS technology.
