Statement of Work: Aluminum Service Body Installation for Ford F-600
This Statement of Work describes the procurement and installation of a new aluminum service utility body on vehicle EN4132, a 2024 Ford F-600 regular cab 4x4, for the Hoosier National Forest. The contractor must procure and install an aluminum service body featuring storage boxes, an integrated aluminum headache rack for cab protection, and capacity to tow a 30,000-pound gooseneck trailer and 24,000-pound bumper pull trailers. The design must incorporate low-profile storage boxes mounted under the flatbed to provide clearance for gooseneck trailer operation. The truck bed installation must be completed with all wiring, backup camera, and fuel filling locations verified operational before government acceptance. The contractor may be located within 100 miles of Bedford, Indiana, and the Forest Service will arrange truck drop-off and pickup logistics. The deliverable is one fully functioning installed aluminum gooseneck service body on EN4132, priced as a lump sum line item.
No specific contract award date, response deadline, key personnel requirements, security requirements, data rights, or Section 508 compliance obligations are identified in the document. The Forest Service furnishes the base vehicle (EN4132 Ford F-600), and no government travel is anticipated. No unique security requirements apply to this acquisition.
