About this file
This document is Addendum #1 to RFP No. C2022779 for "Federal Advocacy Services for Oregon Ports" issued by the Oregon Business Development Department (OBDD). The addendum clarifies that there is no requirement for a "work sample" as part of the proposal, as this was an error in the original RFP document. The RFP seeks federal advocacy services to promote continued federal support for water resources and marine development projects for Oregon ports, including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintenance dredging and navigation improvement projects.
The RFP does not provide any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, contract amounts, or other salient information beyond the services requested and the clarification on the work sample requirement.

Addendum #1 to RFP No. C2022779
OregonBuys no. Open Market Bid S-12300-00005602
“Federal Advocacy Services for Oregon Ports”
The Oregon Business Development Department is issuing this Addendum 1 to the above-referenced RFP regarding the requested services. This Addendum 1 changes only the requirements of Section 1.8 as described below. This Addendum does not otherwise modify or add to the directions in the RFP document.
Thanks for your continued efforts and interest.
Q1. The RFP references a “work sample” on page 6 which does not count towards the 10-page maximum for the proposal. Could OBDD clarify what “work sample” means? Does this refer to the request to “Provide specific examples of your top successes in the last ten years and the names of staff involved” (requested on page 7)?
A1. The reference to a “work sample” in Section 1.8 is an error and should be omitted.
Because there is no way for evaluators to score a work sample in Section 2.1, any submitted work samples will not be considered during the evaluation. OBDD regrets the error.
