About this file
This brand name justification document seeks approval to acquire 30 units of the MilesTek 7-Stub Compact Coupler Dual Term 78 OHM (P/N 90-50227) on a sole source basis from an authorized reseller of the product. The Naval Sea Systems Command requires this specific coupler, which was tested and evaluated against requirements, and no substitutions are authorized. The total value of this acquisition is estimated above $25,000. The contracting officer determined this sole source award represents the lowest cost to meet the government's needs. The requirement will be synopsized on SAM.gov.
The related solicitation is for the same 30 units of the MilesTek 7-Stub Compact Coupler, set aside for small businesses. The requirement is being fulfilled by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command. Items are to be delivered within four weeks of award of the order.
