About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for the C-130J Contractor Kit Installation of the Combined MILSATCOM ARC-210 Gen 6 plus MUOS Modification to the United States Air Force (USAF) fleet. The government is conducting market research to identify potential sources and subcontracting opportunities for firms with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to competently and competitively respond to all requirements for the retrofit installation of an ARC-210 Gen 6 radio suite on 165 total USAF C-130J aircraft.
The RFI requests information from companies regarding their experience with Contractor Field Team (CFT) efforts, including details on airframe modifications, number of aircraft, contract period of performance and dollar value, installation locations, nature and scope of work, manpower, quality assurance, hazardous materials, and safety. Companies are also asked to describe their ability to provide the required manpower support during the estimated fiscal years 27-29 timeframe, based on other current or planned work.
