About this file
This is a Specifications document for a federal contract opportunity with the USDA-ARS Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center in Fargo, North Dakota.
The contract requires delivery of two radioactive chemical products: 500 microcuries (µCi) of 14C-Catechol in dichloromethane solvent and 500 microcuries (µCi) of 14C-Styrene in hexane solvent. Both items must meet minimum requirements of greater than 98% chemical and radiochemical purity at a specific activity of at least 50 millicurie/millimole. Both products must be delivered within 60 days to USDA-ARS Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center, 1616 Albrecht Blvd N., Fargo, ND 58102. The contractor is required to provide prompt notice of shipping to allow facility staff to make proper notifications and ensure that only qualified personnel open the radiological chemicals upon receipt to follow proper procedures.
