About this file

This document is a Specifications attachment for a federal contract solicitation issued by the USDA/ARS.

The procurement requires one Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) hyperspectral imaging camera system with an objective lens, to be delivered to USDA/ARS at 64 Nowelo Street, Hilo, HI 96720 within 60 days after award. The camera must be a line-scan system covering the 1000-2500 nm spectral range and compatible with Resonon's large sample benchtop scanning system and Spectronon Software. Minimum technical specifications include: 245 or greater spectral channels, spectral resolution equal to or better than 7.7 nm (FWHM), 640 or greater spatial pixels, F-stop of 1.8 or lower, a 25 mm or similar objective lens, and US-based customer service. The system design should emphasize turnkey or near-turnkey integration to minimize custom opto-mechanical fabrication and reduce long-term support burden. Shipping to the specified location is included in the contract requirements.
