About this file
This is a Specification Document for a scientific instrument procurement. The document specifies the requirement for a DeNovix DS-8X Eight Channel Spectrophotometer, a high-throughput, microvolume UV-Vis instrument designed for rapid nucleic acid and protein purification analysis. The instrument must be capable of reading UV-Vis absorbance, luminescence, and fluorescence across eight sample channels simultaneously, with a measurement time of 10 seconds for all eight samples and a minimum sample volume capability of 1 microliter. Performance parameters include minimum detection thresholds of 2 ng/µL for double-stranded DNA, 0.1 mg/mL for bovine serum albumin, and 0.6 mg/mL for immunoglobulin G, with maximum concentration capabilities of 11,000 ng/µL, 330 mg/mL, and 161 mg/mL respectively. The instrument must perform endpoint, kinetic, and spectrum scans and be suitable for rapid and accurate quantification of DNA, RNA, and proteins in microvolumes. The system must include comprehensive software that supports data collection, analysis, exporting, and reporting functions, with applications suitable for research, diagnostics, and regulated environments.

Specification Document
The DeNovix DS-8X Eight Channel Spectrophotometer is a high-throughput, microvolume UV-Vis instrument designed for rapid nucleic acid and protein purification. The instrument must be capable of reading UV-Vis absorbance, luminescence, and fluorescence. The instrument can accommodate 8 samples which allows a measurement time of 10 seconds for 8 samples. The minimum sample volume is 1 µL. It should be able to detect 2ng/µl dsDNA, 0.1 mg/mL BSA, and 0.6 mg/mL IgG and a maximum concentration of 11,000 ng/µl, 330 mg/mL, and 161 mg/mL respectively.
perform endpoint, kinetic and spectrum scans. It should be ideal for rapid, accurate quantification of DNA, RNA, and proteins in microvolumes with applications in research, diagnostics, and regulated environment. The system should include software that provides data collection, analysis, exporting, and reporting.
