B.2 SOW Statement of Work

The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work and salient characteristics document, except as may otherwise be specified. The facility intends to purchase and install one Pass-Through Disinfection Chamber to disinfect manually cleaned, heat-intolerant and non-immersible devices at the transfer window between

Decontamination and Prep/Pack, using 254 nm UV-C light with a validated

60-second cycle. The chamber provides chemical-free, repeatable disinfection and supports unidirectional workflow while preserving negative pressure on the decontamination side and positive pressure on the clean side of the pass-through interface.

1.0 OBJECTIVES

Reduce bioburden on hand‑washed items before they enter Prep/Pack, using

254 nm UV‑C disinfection with cycle verification via indicator strips.

Maintain environmental integrity (pressure differentials and airflow separation) across the pass‑through boundary during transfers.

1.1 REQUIREMENTS/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

The Pass-Through Disinfection Chamber shall be like or equal to the Health

Guard UV-C Custom Pass-Through Disinfecting Station (UVC 360-PT) and have the minimum characteristics as described below:

Like or equal to the HealthGuard UV-C ® Pass-Through Disinfection Chamber

Weight 150 to 200 lbs

Platform HealthGuard UV-C ® Pass-Through Disinfection Chamber

Lamps 6 to 8 encapsulated UV-C lamps emitting 254nm wavelength

Dimensions 31” W x 43” H x 32”L

Construction Chassis and housing surfaces will be fabricated from stainless steel with hinged dual-doors for pass-through configuration and viewing windows. Interior mirror polished aluminum interior and interior with a courtesy light

Power 110v / 15amp

Mounting Wall mounted

Accessories - 8 Each UV-C Replacment Lamps

- 10/Box UV Indicator Strips

- 1 Jar 4 oz High grade aluminum polish

- 1 Pack, 9” x 13” microfiber cloth 5/Pk

1.2 TASKS

Procure a brand name or similar model to the HealthGuard UV-C ® Pass‑Through

Disinfection Chamber and accessories, meeting the salient characteristics.

Prior to installation, conduct a survey of the existing pass-through window prior to installation to ensure the opening dimensions, wall construction, clearances, counter heights, and ability to accommodate opposing doors/interlocks do not impede SPS workflow or create obstacles. Confirm electrical outlet is available to power the UV-C

Pass Through window.

Modify the wall, if necessary, to ensure structural stability. It may be necessary to add bracing and ties to ensure the wall can accommodate the weight of the new Pass-

Through window and electrical connections to be made. The contractor shall be responsible for repairing the wall and bringing the wall back to a finished state. Ensure appropriate barriers, ventilation and infection controls are in place if any modifications to the wall are needed.

Ensure proper UV‑C hazard warnings labels/signs are posted at both sides of the chamber after installation is complete.

Provide operator training for SPS staff on loading, cycle initiation, indicator strip verification, and PPE considerations; reinforce pass-through protocols that keep doors closed when not in use. Training will also need to be provided to the Biomed or

Facilities staff to include lamp inspection/replacement schedule, output monitoring practices consistent with UV-C performance expectations for low-pressure mercury lamps at 254 nm.

Provide Biomed or Facilities staff with warranty documentation and Preventative

Maintenance (PM) schedule.

1.3 DELIVERABLES

Delivery of the equipment/accessories and installation will be completed within one hundred and twenty (120) days from date of award.

Provide warranty documentation and PM Schedule.

Documentation of completed Operation and Maintenance Training.

(a)Definitions. As used in this clause—

Program participation means membership or participation in, or access or admission to: training, mentoring, or leadership development programs; educational opportunities;

clubs; associations; or similar opportunities that are sponsored or established by the contractor or subcontractor.

Racially discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) activities means disparate treatment based on race or ethnicity in the recruitment, employment (e.g., hiring, promotions), contracting (e.g., vendor agreements), program participation, or allocation or deployment of an entity's resources.

(b) In connection with the performance of work under this contract, the Contractor agrees as follows:

(1) The Contractor will not engage in any racially discriminatory DEI activities;

(2) The Contractor will furnish all information and reports, including providing access to books, records, and accounts, as required by the Contracting Officer, for purposes of ascertaining compliance with this clause;

(3) In the event of the Contractor's or a subcontractor's noncompliance with this clause, this contract may be canceled, terminated, or suspended in whole or in part, and the Contractor or subcontractor may be declared ineligible for further Government contracts;

3729(b)(4).

(c) The Contractor must include the substance of this clause, including this paragraph

(c), in subcontracts at any tier, including those for commercial products and commercial services, except those where the place of delivery or performance is outside the United

States.
