About this file

The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for annual maintenance services for two Caterpillar Generator Model 3306 Units located in the Generator Room at the Federal Regional Center in Maynard, Massachusetts. The SOW outlines comprehensive maintenance requirements including detailed inspection protocols for multiple generator systems such as cooling, fuel, air intake, exhaust, lube oil, starting systems, control panel, and safety controls. The maintenance services are divided into two service levels: PM1 (Inspection/Minor) and PM2 (Inspection Plus Oil Change/Major), with specific tasks for each level including coolant analysis, filter replacements, component inspections, operational checks, and documentation requirements.

The contract opportunity is issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region 1, with a performance period of base year plus four option years. The solicitation seeks a firm-fixed-price contract for generator maintenance services, with quotes due by 3:00 PM EDT on July 10, 2025. Evaluation will be based on technical approach and price, with the government assessing offerors' understanding of requirements and capability to perform services. Potential contractors must have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration, submit detailed technical and pricing proposals, and demonstrate the ability to perform maintenance effectively with little to no government intervention.
