About this file
This document is FAR clause 52.225-2, the Buy American Certificate (October 2022), which is a required federal contracting form used in solicitations.
The certificate requires offerors to certify that all end products are domestic end products, except those explicitly listed as foreign end products in the provision. Offerors must identify any end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic end products and, for non-iron/steel foreign end products that are not COTS items, indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content. Offerors must also separately list line item numbers of domestic end products containing critical components as defined in FAR 25.105. The provision specifies that the Government will evaluate offers according to the policies and procedures of FAR Part 25. The certificate requires contractor signature, printed name, and today's date. This particular version of the form indicates "N/A – This Procurement is for Commercial Items," meaning foreign end product listing and critical component identification are not applicable to this specific solicitation.
