About this file
This is a Buy American Certificate provision (FAR 52.225-2, October 2022 version) that requires offerors to certify the domestic content status of end products being supplied under the contract.
The certificate mandates that offerors certify all end products as domestic end products unless listed otherwise in the provision. Offerors must separately identify any foreign end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic, and for non-iron/steel foreign products, indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content (except for commercially available off-the-shelf items). Offerors must also list line item numbers for domestic end products containing critical components as defined in the solicitation's Buy American-Supplies clause. The Government will evaluate offers according to Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 25 policies and procedures. This provision applies to the Hampton VA Medical Center's pedestrian crossing signage with installation procurement (Solicitation 36C24626Q0572), a GSA Schedule contract issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 6 for exterior architectural signage design, programming, utility surveying, and installation services at the Hampton, Virginia facility.
