RFI Questions & Answers JBSA FORT SAM HOUSTON (FSH) NAVY FURNITURE BLDG 1475 and 1479

1. We are located in Houston Texas and will be participating in sending a quotation for Fort Sam Houston Bldg 1475 and 1479 (Beds and wardrobes), please clarify if TAA applies for this procurement due to size?

Clause 52.225-5 Trade Agreements is not a part of this requirement.

2.

The first two columns list Bunkable beds but the total furniture pieces lists lift beds. Which is correct? Additionally, are these in addition to the beds in bldg. 1475 & 1479, or are these being brought to the warehouse from the ones we are supplying to those buildings?

The Metal Bunkable Beds from both buildings total up to 547 these are the only items coming back to our warehouse.

3. While preparing our quote for FA301626Q0151, we identified a discrepancy in the wardrobe finish requirement. The pricing schedule lists CLIN 0003 as khaki, while the SOW salient characteristics specify a natural oak finish. Please confirm the intended finish.

CLIN 0003 will be khaki.

4. We respectfully ask whether your delivery timeline has flexibility of up to two (2) additional weeks.

At this time there will not be any extensions.

5. Can you give me a little more detail on the types of lift beds that are required? Do you need all metal wardrobes/ with wheels?

The salient characteristics for the lift beds and wardrobes are in section 3.2 & 3.4 of the SOW.
