About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) for building inspection services for commercial structures at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. SAC is seeking qualified firms to provide these services over an initial 2-year term, with options to renew for two additional 1-year terms. Respondents must conduct a site visit and submit proposals by September 25, 2024. SAC plans to award one or more qualified firms based on criteria such as management plan, experience, organizational structure, and cost. The scope of work includes conducting inspections on a range of buildings and hangars, providing detailed inspection reports, and complying with all relevant federal, state, and local requirements. SAC reserves the right to add or remove buildings/hangars during the contract term.

Pricing will be evaluated based on the itemized fees submitted for the buildings and hangars listed in Exhibit A. SAC will give preference to local and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms but does not require these designations for award. The successful respondent(s) will be expected to work closely with SAC's engineering and facilities departments to complete the required inspections.
