About this file

This document provides a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document and details of a related Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) from the Department of Transportation.

The FAQ clarifies that the correct page limit for proposals submitted in response to the NOFO is 25 pages. It also confirms that partnerships with industry subcontractors on a reasonable scale would be allowed under the program.

The NOFO solicits applications for the FY2023 Advanced Bridge Technology Clearinghouse program. It is assigned under the Department of Transportation's 20.947 - Advanced Bridge Technology Clearinghouse (ABTC) Development federal grant program. The NOFO does not specify an application deadline, award notification date, or available funding amounts. Successful applicants will partner with the University Transportation Centers consortium to conduct bridge-related research and development activities.
